Reply from Kent Brushes, Hempstead, England

Oh happy day!!! I am thrilled to have received a reply from Sue Dad in Customer Service of the Kent Hairbrush company in Hempstead England. They put out a booklet of the company history for their 200th year anniversary and she is sending it in the mail..(.carrier pidgeon or owl). Everyone I have contacted in England is so pleasant, helpful and Nice!! I can't wait to go there. In the meantime, I'm thinking of purchasing one of their hairbrushes for a souvenir. They make some of the finest brushes in the world. Check out their website at Kentbrushes.com.

Next item of research: Did grammar books in 1790 classify verbs as active and passive? I want to know whether the phrase "...is an active verb" would have been used back then.
